I have a question,

One of my users has DSL. She also uses dial up to connect to our reservations system, but she would like to be able to use her e-mail and internet at the same time without switching back and forth all the time.

How can I set this up for her. She is currently on Win2k, if need be i can upgrade to windows xp.

thanks,
Shari

Hi, If the reservations system also is browser-based, how about using a different browser from what's used for the 'normal' internet access? The configuration for netscape or opera could be maintained separately from iexplorer, for example. I support some users who have internet explorer & outlook open (using a cable modem connection to their ethernet port) and then use Hyperterminal (config for a com port or modem) to dial-in to a mainframe. It works great.

actually what i found out what we are going to do is,
our reservations system is going to be web based in the very near future and she is going to be our guinea testing pig.

currently our reservations system is application called affinity carmel. its an airline system. she dials into a private network and then from there it gives her a direct connection to our head office reservations systems overseas.

so we are going to get her to use the web based system instead. thanks
