Using DB Link notation using Oracle 8.1.6 ODBC Drivers

Here is an interesting problem. We just upgraded ODBC drivers from Oracle 7.35 to the new Oracle 8.x.x ODBC drivers. Now we can no longer execute statements referencing a database link. A statement like "SELECT * FROM table@dblink" causes an error "ORA-02041 client database did not begin a transaction" where is did not before. Any ideas?

Try to disable MTS support under the ODBC setup. s-)
