Using DateSerial to get the last day of the month 1

varMonth1 = dateserial(2001,Month(date),15)

This gives me the 15th of current month no problem.
I need the last day of the month, which I assume would be easiest by taking the first day of NEXT month minus 1.
How can I use dateserial to do that?
