Using Date Prompts in Report

In a prompt page for a report I have a date prompt which I use the operator in_range to filter on a date range. How can I add the values selected by the user to my report for display purposes.

I found the answer to my own question.

If you create a text data item, and set the source to report expression, you can then choose the Report Expression property and choose the parameter you created in the prompt.
