I'm trying to create a layout for my webpage using CSS but I'm having problems with box properties. What I want to do, precisely, is
to create a few boxes where links go inside these boxes. I can do the same with tables but I guess using CSS is much better for comnpatibility. The big problem I have is getting the borders to line up verticaly. I'm using 3 classes, one for the head, one for links and one for plain text. I hope I gave enough information. Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge (and I could be wrong) there is no benefit to using CSS "boxes" over tables. Where CSS can benefit you is by allowing you to set the style of your tables, rows, and cells once and only once.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but there should be no reason to NOT use the <TABLE> tag. After all, without tables, we would be lost sometimes. ;-) Kevin

CSS is better if you want precision control over your positioning. If you want your page to adapt and 'soapbubble' to fit differing resolutions, Tables are better. Dean Owen

Thanks for the help people. I guess I'm using tables now. Ciao!
