I'm trying to use Crystal 7.0 against an Access db query that has a parameter. When I try to setup a new report in Crystal by selecting ODBC (have an ODBC connection to the db), select my query that expects a parameter, click Finish I get the error "Too few parameters. Expected 1." Please help. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is a known issue of crystal not working with Access Queries with Parameters. That may have been solved with later versions but I know it exists at least up until crystal v8.5.

Query the entire database, and put the parameter on the crystal side. Let crystal do the work. Alternatively, you could hard code the selection criteria in the Access query, rather than having it as a parameter.

Thanks for the info. No thanks to Seagate. I've implemented the your first suggestion and it works fine. It just doesn't "feel" right. Thanks again for the help.
