I am completly new to asp.net... Havn't coded a single page yet...

I have been tasked with writing a web based database (I have been administering a few access db's for a while now.)

I have been reading many books, and wanted to get a few pro's opinions...

I need to be able to transfer data between different pages... I see many people like to use the url to store the data(Sorry, I don't remember the name of that right now...), but i don't like that idea since this app once it's done, tested and all will be a mission critical and very secure web site...

I wanted to get people's opinions on if i should look into using cookies??

I am about ready to start coding, and would like to have that opinion befor hand... so if it turn's out i can't do it, i don't have to rework every thing...

Thank you much for your time and energy...
