Using @Command([OpenView]) on a navigator

If you use [OpenView]as a Function for a button on a nvaigator why does it not perform as a Simple Action i.e close the existing view and open th named view?<br>If you use the parameter &quot;1&quot;, the number of open windows eventually will exceed the maximum allowed i.e. view windows remain open.&nbsp;&nbsp;Alternatively using no parameter opens each view once from the navigator, once each is opened they can only be navigated through the view menu.<br><br>I am using this function to restrict certain user roles from accessing a particular view.
