I have been told that I need to start looking into COM as an alternative to or in conjunction with ASP. My understanding of COM is that it is essentially a .dll that can be created in VB (which is all I would know how to program in anyway) and serves as an extra layer between the presentation interface and the back end. However, I don't know much else beyond that. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction or give me an idea of how best to approach this? Right now, everything is kind of generic, but once I have a little more knowledge, I can be a little more specific. Thanks!
