Using COM Component to Connect to DB

Hi,

Does anyone have any code samples I could reference for implementing the use of a COM component when accessing a SQL 7.0 database from an ASP page.

I want to prevent multiple connections whenever possible. I want to install a component in MTS and hopefully reduce the number of user connections.

Any help is appreciated.
