I have a subform that displays meeting participants. The subform is designed to display the names in three columns. I increased the footer size so that the column breaks occur after every five names.

When I drop this subform into a main form it does not have any column breaks. I tried setting the Can Grow property to No but it still lists one long column on the lefthand side. Is there a way to preserve column formatting in subforms?

Can we assume you mean report and subreport rather than form and subform?

Subreports with multiple columns are most easily displayed Across then Down rather than Down then Across.

D'oh! You are correct, Duane. I did mean report and subreport. And your suggestion fixed the problem.

Thanks!
