I am using the if function and if the statement is true, I want the cell to be Jan(in red font) and if it is false, I want the cell to be Jan(in black font).

How do you get the color to carry over with the if formula?

So regardless of whether it's true or false , the answer will be the same?

The answer will be Jan regardless but one should be Jan and the other should be Jan.

Did you not understand the answer in thread68-1507920???

use the formula to generate the Jan then use the same formula in a "Conditional Format" to set the font to Red.
