using code from one private sub into another?!?!?!?

Ok, well i have a form and a sub-form. In the form i have a combo box. This box i want to assign it a procedure to open a new record in the sub-form.

I have a button in the sub-form that produces this new record... however i want to make that not necessary...

how can i call on this code? or is there a way of getting this new record up? ive tried using a macro with the sub-form... but it comes up with an error saying that the form isnt open.

Some help would be great...

How do you wish to enter the data in the sub form. Remember that it is actually the recordset behind the form you are adding data to. You can put an onupdate event in your combobox that will do an

INSERT INTO...

the recordset behind the subform or any other recordset.
