I wish to create a list of options in a form in which the user can signify their choice by checking a box.

For each option I use:
Developer Tab --> Legacy Controls --> ActiveX Controls --> Check Box --> new line

Then I highlight the list of boxes and use:
Developer Tab --> Group --> Group

Now I have, on each line, a checkbox with a label e.g. "Check Box 1"

How do I:
1. Edit the label;
2. Set the boxes so that:
a. only one box can be checked; or
b. as many boxes as chosen can be checked?

Thanks

Hi OfficeAnimal,

1: Select the ActiveX object, right-click, choose Properties, then edit the caption.
2(a) This is normally done via grouped radio buttons, not checkboxes. No code is required for grouped radio buttons. If you want to use checkboxes, you'll need to add code to each checkbox in the group so that, if the current one is checked, all others are unchecked.
2(b) That is the default behaviour.

a. only one [check] box can be checked

Don't do it, don't change the way Windows controls work. This will confuse your users and you will have to do a lot of work to over-write the normal behavior of check boxes (use radio buttons instead if you need them to work this way)

Have fun.
