Using C++ in database application development.

I Used C++ as a learning tool , and been using SQL and PL/SQL in database Development. I Like C++, I would like to know how/where would I use C++ in database development.

If I can't,then I would like to know which applications are developed by using C++ as a Tool

If you have Borland C++ Builder Professional, there are lots of functions and Methods to interface an ODBC-Database.

I have written applications with Microsoft Access and MS-SQL-Server.
