Has anybody had any trouble trying to do a remote (over dialup) backup using the BRU on a BCM400 3.7 to a laptop running Windows XP Media Center 2005? No matter what I do I get error 53: network path not found. I can go to another laptop and set up everything the same way but it is running XP pro and the backup goes through without any problem. What am I missing in Media Center, I thought it was based off of XP pro?

Using BRU with Windows XP Media Center 1

ok, by default on ALL OTHER Windows besides XP Media center, NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled. This has to be enabled in order for the BCM to access the shared folder on the media center PC. Once I enabled that on my laptop, I was able to use the BRU with no problem....
