using browse to select a directory

I know there is an input type='file' that will automatically put up a browse window, but is there similar functionality for directories. I want to be able to select a directory to send to a CGI program for FTPing. Thanks.

I don't think this would be supported outside IE, but you can use the Scripting.FileSystemObject activex control to examine the local file system. You will get activex security warnings however.
