i have a form which has a hyperlink to a word document. Nothing is wrong but just the fact that document has 95 pages and i was wondering if there's a way to make to open to page 80 when user click on the hyperlink. I know you can bookmark in word to do that but is there a way i can still use that through access?

An hyperlink SubAddress seems to be what you want.

Hope This Helps, PH.

i've looked at subaddress but it doesnt give me any option but to select that document...

The address should point to the word document.
The subaddress should be a bookmark in that document.

i've tried that and for some reason when i click on bookmark... i get a pop up describing "The file is not in the correct format for a Microsoft Office Access project."
then states "Microsoft Office Access could not open this file or could not parse a file of this type.

You're in an ADP, not a MDB ?
Sorry, I know nothing about access projects.

now you've mentioned it.. it's weird.
i am in MDB..

I'm pretty sure there's nothing built-in or easy. If you need this badly enough, use Word Automation to programmatically open the document and navigate out...pretty much everything's supported via Automation, it's just a matter of how much time you're willing to invest in getting it working.
