I need to upgrade my client tools to SQL 2008 R2 for SSRS purposes. However, I still need to deploy SSIS to SQL 2008. I cannot find anything to do with target version in BIDS. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks

Are your SSIS packages in the SQL DB or on a LAN?
If LAN then you should be fine - we have SQL 2008 R2 server but VS 2008 for SSIS development and there is no issue

If packages stored ont eh database then I'm afraid I don't know

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.
