We have an S8700, v2.2 switch in Houston, TX, and we have users attempting to connect to it to use IP Softphone (release 4 version 1) from Israel and Germany, in telecommuter mode. They can connect to the switch and login just fine, but when they atttempt to place a call, it tells them "call can't be completed".
In one instance, the call went to the dialed party, who was also international, but the call never reaches the calling party for connection.
I've tested the "telephone at" number that they are entering into the softphone client, and can get through, but there is always a brief delay before I hear the first ring. Is there possibly a time-out period that can be set, before the system decides that the calling party cannot be reached over the number entered in the "Telephone At" field?
