I have 3 tables - Engineer details, Accreditation details, and Engineers Accreditations. Eng details and Accred details are on the ONE side and Engs Accreds is on the MANY side. I am using a select Autolookup qry to create the Engs Accreds tbl.
In the qry datasheet, I enter one field and auto fill another field.
I then enter the Engineers name from a pull-down (from Engineer details tbl - having setup a "Select DistinctRow etc" in the properties for this field). The row is created in Engs Accreds o.k and I can query on the tbl fine..BUT I am also creating a new row with just the Engineers name in the Engineer details tbl which I do not want to do. Where have I gone wrong ?????
