Using Arcserve for Exchange backup

I've been having problems recently using arcserve 2k to verify my Exchange 5.5 backups.

I'm curious to know the backup and restore routines others are using to verify their backups. Hopefully by hearing your methods it will help me identify my problems.

Any input you could provide would be helpful. Thanks.
