On OS9 we could select a group of text files on the desktop or in any folder and hit Apple P to print them all at once. Is there a way to do this on OSX?
Thanks Kevin

Kind of.

First you need to set something up to make it easy to do.

Open System Preferences.

Open Print/Fax Preferences.

Double Click the your printer in the list.

Look in the Dock. You will see an icon for your printer, click and hold on this and a menu will appear. Select "Keep in Dock".

Now when you want to print a group of files, shift click them all and drag them to that icon in the dock.

I *think* this uses the default printer setting, so if you set up the default to be what you want then you should be ok. There is also a degree of intelligence built into it.
I once printed a whole load of images like this and they were rotated to fit on the paper as needed. Saved me alot of work.
