Using and Add in? this is baffling to me!

I want to use the Package and deployment wizard to make an access file to run on another computer. I have all of the code but need to use the add in and it isn't there.... I am using developer edition.. I go to add ins and there are none listed and none available to add in! I must have not chosen to install them or may have not installed a crutial part of office developer. It is making me nuts so if you have any ideas i would love to here them. Thanks alot,
