We can successfully access our company's network from Macs and PCs by means of a VPN.

We basically have phase 1 & 2 setting whereby we enter the firewall IP and LAN IP along with a pre-shared secret.

Our goal is to try and join the VPN using an iPhone in order to send outgoing mail.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Best regards

To accomplish this task (sending mail from the company), most people use the active sync connection built into the phone. However, for this to work, your mail administrator must set up a front end server (IF using Exchange, the webmail server can work for this). It is highly suggested that it is set up using SSL (RDP over HTTPS).
