Hi,

I'm trying to fit an analog wireless phone on a Norstar 3x8 DR1 system. I've tried using an ATA2, then an ATA1 and I've even tried the very first releases of ATA 1, the ones in a long upright shape with ventilation slots all around.

The phone can use external lines alright if it is set to use pool lines as primary lines. But if I put I/C as primary line, it's like the system or ATA doesn't recognize the touch tones emitted by the phone, I can dial on and on without the ATA doing anything else but tone at me.

Anyone ever faced similar issues? Is it any possible to use an analog phone with a 3x8 DR1 system?

Thanks for the info

may just be the wireless..try a normal analog or butt set...tones on wireless may notbe long enuf to break dialtone

Programming....

Internal:
2 Intercom keys
Prime line: Intercom
Access to Pool X

External:
2 Intercom keys
Prime line: Pool X
Access to Pool X = YES
Hotline = External, F78

I believe that you have to have that ext. set to receive tones if it is even in that software release you did say dr1 damn buddy it's time to upgrade don't you think...

I really get a little annoyed when trouble shooting is ignored..The first step was
is it compatible
then
does it have power
then
is it crose connected to a workin port
then
use a butt set to test

pretty simple
no??
