Is there a way to identify in AD what a users password change history is? Example, I'd like to know how many times a user was prompted to have her password changed in a given month?

Is there a way to drill down in ADSI Edit in order to obtain this info? I also have BindView which is a nice overlay ans similar to ADSIEdit.. I just don't know how to find this "specific" information..

thanks for any support on this.

From what I see there isn't an attribute for that, but what you could do is monitor the pwdLastSet attribute and see how many times this date has changed, probably best to do with a script of some kind i.e. vbscript, powershell, batch file, etc...

hi w33mhz, yes I was looking at this specific attribute but how in god to you decipher what all those numeric mean in a decent breakdown fashion?
is there a special resource kit or tool to make sense of it?

thanks for any support
