Hello,

We have several systems that are using an ACCESS database and our users want to upscale this system to MSQLServer!

One of the things they're looking for in particular is a better reporting capability, ie easy to use and no technical abilities required!

Is there a particular Microsoft tool or Vendor tool that you know about that will simply let you select from lists and using non technical methods to create reports?

Thanks very much for any ideas and or suggestions!

We stuck with Access as a reporting tool, linked in the tables from SQL Server, and created ADPs instead of MDBs. Works slick!!

The Microsoft mascot is a butterfly.
A butterfly is a bug.
Think about it....

I have always created my own reporting modules with tick-boxes and text fields to allow people to customize their own reports.

Have fun!)
