Hi,
Who can help me to access to an ACCESS Data base without using ODBC ? I try it as described in the documentation without success ! Do you have an axlanation and perhaps a little example to demonstrate the funcyionality ?
Thank's for your reply

you can try to install the native Driver instead of the ODBC driver. The programming interface is the same.

I have successfully used the Diamond ADO instead of the BDE (or ODBC) to easily tie into MS Access. Their component easily installs in Borland C++ Builder 4.0 and a trial version is available as shareware at It's a great product and seems very solid. It also comes with some easy to follow samples.
