Hi

I designed several reports using an access 97 database as the datafile. Recently I upgraded to Access 2000. Now when I attempt to preview data in this report, I get a message stating that the file could not be opened at the specified file location. I then selected the Set Location option to see whether it was looking in the right location, but it was. I selected verify database and I got the message, Please give location of info view or directory used to create this report. Next I converted the database from 2000 to 97 and previewed the report. This time I got no errors. Is there something else that needs to be done in order for me to move from 97 to 2000 without having to recreate these reports?

Thank you,

Cooleen

You don't have to re-create the reports. I had a similar problem, and went to Seagates Crystal Reports site to the downloads, researched the problem, & downloaded 2 dll's which I copied into the windows\system director & all is okay now. I am not at work right now, so I don't have the dll names handy, but they were easy to find on the Seagate CR site. Hope this helps.
