Using a VBA form to launch Impromptu Reports

I would like to use a VBA form where users can specify criteria (ie Manager, Status etc). The form would have dropdowns, check boxes and command buttons.

I would like to of course publish both the form & the report so that users can use to form to enter the criteria.

Questions:
Is is possible to use VBA to kick off an impropmtu report?
Will I have problems publishing the vba form and the report thru version 7?

An help is greatly appreciated.
