Using a table as a lookup for the query

Hi.
Up until this point, I have formed queries based on hard coded values.

Example: <request transactional='N' version='1.0'><query entityName='assignmentAllocation'><fieldSpec name='assignmentKey'
comparisonOperation='equal' value='94'/></query></request>

Is there a way that I can use a dynamic set of values(table, text file, etc.) to form queries?

Example: <request transactional='N' version='1.0'><query entityName='assignmentAllocation'><fieldSpec name='assignmentKey'
comparisonOperation='includes' value='LOOKUP FROM TABLE/TXT/ETC'/></query></request>

Any guidance would be appreciated! Thank You!
Angela
