Could some one give us a hand setting up a PC for use as a SMDR device instead of a serial printer?
Thanks

Use a straight through 8-conductor cord with a 355 adapter from the SMDR port of the system to the com port of the PC. Use Hyperterminal (or any terminal emulator) set to 1200 baud, 8 data, 1 stop, no parity.
