Greetings,

We are an ASP, providing a web-based lead fullfillment application; with VoIP Integration, via an XTEN Softphone. If our client's infrastructure can't handle straight VoIP, one of our integration solutions entails using a Intel Netstructure PBX-IP Media Gateway (Mostly model # PIMG80PBXDNI-Digital Version). This solution has worked very well, so far.

We recently came across a client who has a Partner System. We tried implementing a Intel Netstructure PBX-IP Media Gateway model PIMG80LSV4 (Analog Version). When the client dials out (our application only allows outbound), the call rings once, and goes fast busy. We think that this might be a timing/multplexing issue. Does anyone have any experience with this configuration/issue?

Robert

You're probably introducing a hookflash to transfer the call to the Partner, and it is probably too long in duration and being seen as a hangup request. Make sure your hookflash timer in your gateway is less than 750 msec, 500 is best.
