Using a particular font from server!

Hi all,

I have a webpage written in Maltese. The Maltese characters are quite particular and we have fonts on purpose for this. So i created the webpage using these characters through a particlar font, though when i access the site from work (where my pc has no maltese fonts installed), the characters go back to be the standard characters found on the keyboard.

I've made a link for users to download the font and install it on their machine, though this is not extremly th perfect idea.

Is there a way of automatically downloading the font or use the one on the server?

CSS3 provides a nice way of doing this, although it is probably not widely supported at all at present:
