Hi there,
I've written an asp form to upload to an access database. It works perfectly on forms that are uploaded into the databases text fields, but once it is changed to a memo field, I get errors giving me a type mismatch. Is a memo field the same as a text field? And can we insert data into it the same way?

Hi There,
The link points to solutions for VB, I was hoping to find a simple way to do the upload in ASP. Is there any way to put the information in similarly to how we do it with a textfield:

rst("EventEndTime")=request.form("txtEndTime")

Or is it possible to extend the textfield beyond 255 chars?

Thanks
Eric

not to sound completely oblivious but i noticed the field name in your last post, are you doing any form of calulation based on this "eventendtime" if you're converting to a memo field then attempting to still do calculations, especially with non numeric or mixed data may be part of your issue.
