I am writing a database which will hold all of the machines' names, their machine number, as well as whether or not PLC s are present. Some of the machines contain more than one PLC. I have a "Master" form, which contains a yes/no and quantity box. On update from the quantity box, another form opens, where the PLC's data can be inputed. I want to run a loop that will cycle a number of times equal to the quantity on the "Master" form. Is this possible?

-Thank you for you help in advance

Yes it is, but dealing with the user who first enters '1' and then enters '3' or vice versa might be difficult. I think this would be better implemented with a subform. The user can just enter the data for each PLC in the subform without the complication about the quantity loop.
