Hi, I have searched for solutions to the following problem; but maybe haven't phrased my searches properly - any help very gratefully received !

Put simply, I want users to be able to enter some pre-determined data on an Issue Log, and then populate the rest themselves

The key data sits in a table and is in two parts:

Locality (of which there are 15)
Scheme (of which there are 120+)

The Schemes are tied to individual Localities, so 1 Locality will have 8 dedicated schemes, the next Locality may have 20 etc

I just would like users to be able to open the Issue Log and have:

1) a combo box open that they can use to determine Locality, this must then
2) automatically bring up a list of the Schemes associated with that Locality

Their choice of Scheme should then be visible at the top of the form.

I know this should be barn door simple, and have used Access for a long time, but I just can't seem to get a run up on this one - any comments/links very welcome !

Thank you
