Hello, I have an issue, that I'm trying to resolve using a hunt group, but never having used one before, I don't know if it's the right solution, or if there is another way forward.

We have a freephone number with network based queuing system (externally hosted) that rings through to a DDI on the system. There are now two people working in there, and they have their own extension numbers. I thought that if the second person used group pickup from their phone to answer the primary number, then that would take the call out of the queue and allow both handsets to deal with calls from the queue at the same time. Unfortunatley this doesn't work - the second extension takes the call, but the next queued call doesn't then ring on the primary number.

I setup a hunt group and put both extensions in it, then diverted the main number to the huntgroup, but unfortunatley the same thing happened - the 2nd extension rang but not the 1st. It didn't matter which order I put them in the hunt group the result was the same.

Anyone any idea of anything I can do to resolve this ? I think the issue may be with the external queue, but there isn't much I can do about that !
