Here is my problem with datareport. I have an ACCESS2K table called MINORCHILDREN. I also have a form, which displays data from this table and also prompts for additional data in the form of TEXTBOXES to get a complete recordset to populate a DATAREPORT.

Q1. Can i set a datasource property to FORM1.controls (in order to use the contents of a textbox?

Q2. If not, what is the best way to ensure that the current recordset that was just saved or updated is the data being used?

Thank you in advance.

You could, load your recordset from the DB in to a class, and add teh extra fields to the recordset. The class can be set to be a data source in the DataSourceBehaviour class property. MSDN has an example somewhere
