I have a split form. It works beautifully and I have 3 tabs on the form.
I had to put a rectangle under the fields to get the background formatting off it. Thanks for the tip!
Here’s my problem: If I try to filter the data in the datasheet portion of the split form by using the arrows on the tops of the columns to do a sort, I get an error message: “The value you entered isn’t valid for the field ‘ID’. For example, you may have entered text in a numeric field or a number that is greater than the field size setting.”
I am using a filter on columns that have nothing to do with ID. ID is in the table. It is fine.
And the filter gets applied fine. The error is erroneous, but it makes it look like something is wrong for my users.
If I use the filter at the top of the page, I get the error message.
If I use the filter while I am in a field on the form, I get the error message.
If this same table is in a form other than the split form, I get the error message.
If this same table is a datasheet, the filter works fine.
Any ideas?
