using a favicon.ico with WAS

Is there something special I need to do to be able to use a favicon with WAS and IHS? I have put the file in the default (root web) directory, and the child directory (where my WAS servlets are found). But the icon still doesn't display on my favorites list correctly.

Anyone out there have any success with a favicon?
