Using a Engenius Wireless as a Door phone Ext

Hello Techs
I am having trouble using an Eugenius Wireless as a door phone ext.to access the door. I believed I assigned it correctly because the other extensions (18 buttons sets) are working. I know that the Eugenius is considered a analog extension therefore the code to access the door is #40, but is doesn't work.
What are your thoughts? Do I have to program the wireless access the intercom first?

Is this EnQue Customer Service Box connected to a Partner station port or line port?

I went to EnGenius' website, and I get the idea this door box simulates a POTS line with talk battery and ringing voltage. So that being the case, you would need to use an available line port on the Partner and program it according to your needs and functions. I believe that this unit only allows calls to the phone system line port or equivalent, NOT the other way around! So what is #40, were you trying to use a Partner station port?

Do I have to program the wireless access the intercom first?

yes

if your grabbing a line fist then you would have to flash prior to dialing the access code


A SLT should always access ICM first when it goes off hook
