Yes it can be done. After you write the crosstab query, the only way you can put it into a report is:
1) If the column headings will always be the same, list them in the Column Headings property of the query (i.e. Blue, Green, Yellow, Red). This way they are regular fields that you can put on the report.
2) If the column headings always change, it's more work. Search the forum for "crosstab" and find ways that people programmatically deal with that.

I was just reading through your post and noticed that it would work perfectly for what I was doing ---- I had prior been exporting my crosstab to Excel for further work, but so much better being able to use as a Report in Access where I can also do the further totalling!
