I'm pissed off! I came into work today and instead of upgrading the license to 2004 pro from version5, my boss install 2004 pro with a crack. I want to tell someone at macromedia cause i truley believe their products are worth every penny, so now here i am having to use some pirated software, I'm going on vacation tomorrow for 1 week and i'll start looking for a new place to work, how do i let macromedia know, what do i need to give them, i don't want to set off the bell and wistles until i get back... any suggestions?

Did you mention to your employer that it was illegal? Some just don't understand that.

If on the other hand he does know what he did is illegal...

Report it.

Word to the wise, make sure you have another job lined up before you report it.

Just my two cents, hope it helps.

thanks pixl8r for the link, and thanks for all the previous help. How could they not know it is illegal! they also want me to bypass the registration on windowsServer 2003, this one i might do casue M$ is susposedly releasing an update license/user verification, if i time things correctly, i'll set up the server off-line, and when i leave i'll just mention to them that they just need to run the updates on the server, you see they do have a 5 station license for 2003, but they don't want to spend the extra money to get 2 more station up. F?k'em
