using a bitmap in a tclet

Hello

I have to display a bitmap in my tclet
I've tried :
'image create photo imagename -data [::browser::getURL http...image.gif]'

I get this error : 'couldn't recognize image data'
and it seems that the image is not completely downloaded

??? What can i do ???
