Using a 32DSI on a BCM400 4.0

We are replacing a BCM1000 3.6 that has 2 32DSI cards in it with a BCM400 4.0. We are going to reuse the old cards. Do I need to set up the system as single density for these to work as single density modules?

It looks like the docs say you can use the 32 DSM just set the switches just like before. It will take two buses up.
