Using a 1760V as a gateway for DID trunks to FaxPress

I'm looking for some assistance configuring a Cisco 1760V with two VIC-4FXS/DID adapters for use with a FaxPress Premier fax server. My telephony environment is CCM4.x moving to CUCM7.x in the coming months.

1760V IOS: c1700-ipvoicek9-mz.124-25a.bin

Faxes are coming into the college over four copper DID trunks that go straight into the FaxPress box. I would like to migrated the 1000+ phone numbers on those DID trunks to the three PRI lines we have for voice calls (terminating in a CMM configured by CCM with MGCP) and then have them exit the VoIP system through the Cisco 1760V into the FaxPress, thus eliminating the need for the old DID trunks. Outbound faxes would leave the FaxPress on seperate analog lines (configured for DTMF in FaxPress) into the 1760V and out through the CMM's PRI lines.

I read in another thread ( that the router must be configured as an h.323 gateway as MGCP does not support DID trunks. The thread also says that h.323 and MGCP can coexist on the router, so I was thinking h.323 for the DID's and MGCP for the DTMF lines.

What I could use is some good documentation for configuring CCM and the router for this specific situation. I haven't spoken with TAC at this point because our support coverage has lapsed on the 1760V (sitting on a shelf for over a year).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
