using 7700 toner in 7760

Hi. Found some good prices on colored toners for 7700, and the 7760's are pretty expensive!

1. Are the toner characteristics the same?
2. Which other toners are the same as 7760?
3. Is it possible to modify other actual toner cartridges to fit a 7760 printer?
