Is it possible to lock out some of the option in the developer mode. I swear I could add formula in Data Model now the only thing showing is the '-' symbol. I'm not sure if someone hacked something on my desktop, or I'm just going goffy from the reports.

Thanks. I rebooted since first occurrence of issue.

I’m basically new to Oracle Reports and am learning as I go. No training available, I’m more of a Cognos/BOE type of report writer.

I know I was able to add a field in Data Model such as ‘C1_Location’ using copy/paste. But know I wonder how. Doesn’t appear to work like that.

As for the missing ‘+’ sign. I’m at the formula columns tag, and both signs (+/-) missing. When I focus on existing formula field ‘CF_USER’ the ‘ - ‘ appears, which makes sense. However, how does one add a new formula?

Really lost here and Oracle Developer Advanced Forms/Reports not offering any clues.

Feeling foolish.
I just found the View-Tool Palette that gave me the ablility to add field.

Too many report tools to keep stright. Thanks for not laughing too loud.

Absolutely nothing laughable here. Just a normal process of figuring out how to do things with Oracle Reports. It is indeed so different from other reporting tools. Actually, Oracle Reports help is much better then one could expect. See what's available there, it could be very helpful.
